Odontolabis intermedius van de Poll, 1889, photographed alive near the Tabiak Logging Area in northern Palawan, The Philippines, May 1989. This specimen is a teliodonte form of the male. It was a wonderful sight to see this huge specimen arrive amongst the diverse mass of moths, beetles and other insects that were attracted to light.

 Not shown to be endangered.

 

 

 

 

Odontolabis cypri Didier et Séguy, 1953, photographed alive in the Croker Ranges, Sabah, northern Borneo, in May 1996. A beautiful teliodonte form of the male.

This species has also been referred to as Odontolabis erimicola, a matter which requires taxonomic clarification.

Not shown to be endangered.

 

 

 

 

 

Teliodonte form of a live male Cyclommatus montanellus Mollenkamp, 1904. Photographed in the Croker Ranges, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia, where it is reasonably common. This species occurs only on the island of Borneo. Not shown to be endangered.
